I have a great appreciation for all things old and sentimental. I thought some of you might share in my appreciations!! Here are just a few things around my house that are very special to me... My daddy-in-law's sign. No mantel is complete without a bit of family!! The apron that my husband's grandmother made. My kitchen has several "Rachel Lee" touches. Glass bottles as wedding gifts, pottery from my mother-in-law, Rachel Lee's silver pitchers and a sign from a great grandmother's house More Rachel Lee silver. She's a big staple of the kitchen as I said earlier. I wish I had gotten to know her better. My polka dotted lamp. First wedding present Phillip and I received. Thanks Mrs. Bryan! Flower painting from my sister. This too was a great wedding gift:) Most important, favorite in my house.... Little Miss Foster. She loves to "shop" in the pantry/laundry room!! Sorry the pictures are not up close and personal. I did the best I could with what I had.
